At BE! Brevon English, we offer specialist English Language and Literature courses throughout the year for bilingual children and teenagers educated within the French school system.
Our courses are designed to develop and maintain a high level of written and spoken English while nurturing a lifelong love of reading, writing and communication in their mother tongue.
We offer preparation for GCSE, iGCSE and A-Level examinations in English Language and English Literature, as well as Film & Media Studies helping students to achieve recognised British qualifications whilst continuing their education in France.
Thirty Years of Teaching Experience
Stephen Alexander has been teaching English since 1996. A qualified secondary school teacher with a PGCE in English from Brunel University, London, he has taught in the United Kingdom, Spain and France throughout a long and varied career in education.
His experience includes leading departments in English Literature, Media and Film Studies and Modern Foreign Languages, teaching students with Special Educational Needs, and serving in senior leadership positions within British secondary schools.
Today, he brings this experience to supporting bilingual students in developing an academically rigorous and confident command of English that complements their French education.
